These absolutely gorgeous Bryce Brothers water goblets and champagne coupe glasses from the 1950s to early '60s are a must have for any table!

HISTORY

Originally beginning as Bryce, McKee & Company in 1850 Pennsylvania and later becoming Bryce Brothers Company in 1882, the company produced many beautiful glass pieces. They were acquired by Lenox Inc in 1965. The stem numbers indicate the style that was used and the "optic" indicates the design of the bowl (glass). It is very difficult to date the production of their glasses as catalog information is hard to come by.

DETAILS

  • There are 8 Water Goblets measuring 5 7/8" and 6 Champagne Coupes/Dessert glasses measuring 4 1/4". Both sets can be purchased separately or together.
  • Contour Cerulean Blue means that there is a clear blue ball on the stem. Gorgeous!
  • All of the glasses are in perfect condition for their 60 plus years, with the exception of 2 of the coupe glasses. One has a very small chip on the edge of the bowl and the other has 2 very small chips on the bowl. None of the chips are sharp when I run my finger over them.
  • The "block optic" is a gorgeous, subtle design of blocks on the bowl that refracts light. Truly stunning.

All glasses should be handwashed to preserve their beauty.
