Vintage Red Creations was born 3 years ago from my love of all things vintage, my red hair, and my lifelong passion for creating.
Growing up around antiques, I developed a fascination with the history and stories each piece carries. Over time, this appreciation led me to create something unique for our home: framed vintage board games. I wanted pieces that could serve as both eye-catching décor and functional games we could easily take down for our family game nights. When I couldn’t find exactly what I envisioned, I decided to make them myself.
I search for board games from the 1970s or earlier, focusing on those with visual appeal, sentimental value, or both. Games like Parcheesi and Monopoly are classic finds that bring back memories and offer timeless charm. For me, it’s all about finding pieces that show the wear and love from years of play.
Each game I frame contains all the necessary pieces, though I don’t mind if there’s a house or two missing in a set of 32 for Monopoly, for example. In fact, I enjoy the imperfect beauty of these games—the signs of past enjoyment only add to their character.
My hope is that these framed vintage games bring joy to others, sparking fond memories and creating new ones in the process.
