Game History:
Chinese Checkers is a simplified version of a game called "Stern-Halma" developed in 1892 in Germany, which was based on the U.S. game "Halma", invented around 1883. Bill and Jack Pressman marketed the game as "Chinese Checkers" in 1928.
Game Details:
🎲 Finished size = approximately 16" x 16"
🎲 All 60 colored marbles included (in the Gerber food jar I received with the game). The game is hung on a pushpin and can be removed from it to play the game.
🎲 This game would have been sold with the bottom tin being a checkerboard. That part is missing.
Games contain small pieces and are not intended for children under the age of 4.
