Game History:
Candy Land was first released in 1949. Created by Eleanor Abbott, a teacher, who contracted polio in her 30s and spent time in a polio hospital surrounded by children who were isolated from their families. She created Candy Land as a way to help them pass the time.
Game Details:
🎲 Finished size = approximately 17" x 20" 🎲 All four playing pieces and cards (7 treat cards) included. Cards show age with wear and discoloration. 🎲 Board is in great condition. There is some color fading from years of play. Box is in good condition with minor repairs and sticker marks on the front.
Games contain small pieces and are not intended for children under the age of 4.
