HISTORY

The 1945 Primary Colors Bowl Set was the first of the opal ware with an overlay of color produced by Pyrex. It was the result of a collaboration between Corning Glass Works and the US Government to create a sturdy, unbreakable dish for WWII soldiers.

• This Cinderella Casserole set includes the following:
  • 473 - 1 qt with lid
  • 474 - 1.5 qt (no lid)
  • 475 - 2.5 qt (no lid)
• All 3 pieces are in wonderful condition for being almost 55 years old. The 2.5 qt casserole does have scratches in the color which doesn't take away from its beauty.
• The lid for the 1 qt dish does have a small chip on one of the tabs. 

I recommend hand washing to maintain the color. Enjoy!
