Bring vintage charm to your kitchen with this Glasbake divided casserole dish from the 1970s. Featuring a cheerful green daisy pattern that captures the spirit of mid-century modern design, it's perfect for serving multiple dishes at once or creating an eye-catching presentation at the dinner table.
HISTORY
Glasbake was introduced in 1907 by the McKee Glass Company (Pittsburgh, PA) as a competitor to Pyrex, offering heat-resistant soda-lime glass bakeware. It gained popularity from the 1920s to the 1970s, producing iconic mid-century designs like the Atomic Starburst. In the 1960s, McKee merged with Jeannette Glass (Jeannette, PA), continuing Glasbake’s production until its decline and closure around 1983.
DETAILS
- The dish measures approx. 12" x 8.5" x 2" deep.
- The dark green floral pattern on both sides is beautiful!
- There are flea bites around the rim and a very small chip under one handle.
Don't be afraid to use this beauty! I do recommend hand washing to preserve the design. Enjoy!
