HISTORY

The 1945 Primary Colors Bowl Set was the first of the opal ware with an overlay of color produced by Pyrex. It was the result of a collaboration between Corning Glass Works and the US Government to create a sturdy, unbreakable dish for WWII soldiers.  

DETAILS

• This 60 year old divided dish is in excellent condition and ready to be used. There are just a few "pits" inside the dish, normal for its age.
• Total capacity is 1.5 quarts.
• This plain divided dish was not sold with a lid and was discontinued in 1967.
• Measures 13" handle to handle by 9" by 2" high. 

I recommend hand washing to keep it's shine. Enjoy!
