This stunning dish is a must-have for any MCM home. Whether used as a candy dish, serving dish, or decorative piece, it's sure to add a touch of elegance to any space!
HISTORY
Made between 1958 and 1982, Coin Glass was one of Fostoria's most famous lines, displaying pairs of Liberty Bell and soldier coins around the glass. The soldier coin on the bowl shows a date of 1887 which was to commemorate the date when Fostoria Glass Company opened it's doors in Fostoria, Ohio. Four years later, they would move to Moundsville, WV.
DETAILS
- The dish measures 9" long by 5.5" wide by 3.5" tall
- Fostoria produced amber-colored coin glass between the 1960s and the 1970s. Coin glass, with the frosted coins, was produced from 1958 until the early 1960s.
- There are no chips or cracks. It's absolutely gorgeous!
This dish has many uses, but I do recommend hand-washing to protect the frosted coins and their beauty!
