HISTORY

The Pyrex Primary Color Refrigerator Set was the first to be produced with color in 1947. Color opal ware was the result of a collaboration between Corning Glass Works and the US Government to create a sturdy, unbreakable dish for WWII soldiers.  

DETAILS

• Gorgeous deep red color with e few scratches aligning with its 70 years of age.
• Based on the backstamp, this dish was part of the sets likely sold in the late 1950s or early 1960s.
• There is a very tiny chip in the middle of one of the long sides at the top.
• The dish measures 4.25" x  3.25" x 2.5".

I recommend hand washing to preserve the color. Enjoy!
