Fall in love with this 1950s Pyrex Primary Green 2.5qt mixing bowl - a must-have for any Pyrex fan!

HISTORY

The 1945 Primary Colors Bowl Set was the first of the opal ware with an overlay of color produced by Pyrex. It was the result of a collaboration between Corning Glass Works and the US Government to create a sturdy, unbreakable dish for WWII soldiers. The foot of the bowl from 1945 to 1949 was deeper than the redesigned version in 1950 that has the flatter footing.
