The gorgeous Fire King Peach Lustre line was produced in the 1950s and remains a beloved choice for vintage dinnerware collectors. These charming dishes feature delicate laurel leaf patterns in soft peach tones, capturing the elegant aesthetic of mid-century American glassware.
HISTORY
Fire King was a brand within the Anchor Hocking company developed in 1942 to compete with very popular Pyrex line. Often promotional giveaways in flour bags and gas stations, it was meant to be affordable, everyday use kitchenware.
DETAILS
- The cream and sugar set is gorgeous. Each is approx 3" high by 3" wide at the mouth.
- The single cup and saucer has some color fade and the saucer has a small chip. The cup is 2.5" high by 4" wide at the mouth. The saucer is 6" in diameter.
- The 2 fruit bowls are 5" in diameter.
- The 2 saucers are 6" in diameter.
- The 2 rimmed soup bowls are 7.5" in diameter.
- All dishes show normal wear for their 70 years of age.
I do recommend hand washing to preserve the color. Enjoy!
