This GE 3-ribbed mixing bowl set will add some vintage charm to your kitchen. It's perfect for a thoughtful gift for you or a friend!
HISTORY
The GE Triple Whip Mixer, introduced in the late-1940s, featured a unique three-beater design for more efficient mixing. Popular for its sleek design and ability to handle various batters and doughs, it reflected GE's commitment to innovation in home appliances. GE stopped production of this mixer in the early 1960s.
DETAILS
- Both bowls have the 3-ribbed (beehive) design. The large bowl measures 10.5" by 5" and has 2 decorative tab handles. The small bowl is 7.5" by 5".
- Based on the script GE mark on the bottom of each bowl, they were produced sometime between 1946 and 1952. They would have been sold with the GE Triple Whip Mixer. Use as replacements or as stand-alone mixing bowls.
- Both bowls are in fantastic condition. There are no visible chips or cracks. Each bowl has metal marks around the outside, seemingly from where they would sit in the stand mixer.
Don't be afraid to use these! I do recommend hand washing to preserve the shine on each bowl. Enjoy!
