This puzzle is still in excellent condition after all these years. It offers a challenging and enjoyable pastime for cold evenings, perfect for puzzling together with friends and family.

This 1930s - 1940s Joseph K. Straus Jigsaw Puzzle is in great condition. Containing 200 pieces (some are broken, but not noticeable and a few knobs are missing - see picture), it is a print of the painting entitled "Old Faithful" by American painter Henry (Hy.) Hintermeister (1897 - 1970). Approximate finished size is 9" x 12".

The box is sturdy, with a few stains on the lid and one split corner. The label is worn off.

J.K. Straus and Company initially sold their puzzles in orange/red plain boxes with a side label from 1933 until the late 1940s. J. K. Straus set up his puzzle business in New York in 1933 along with his wife.

This puzzle was fun to put together and took many hours because of all the blue!
