Welcome to the Improved Game of Star Authors Game B, brought to you by McLoughlin Brothers! This popular card game features beloved authors and is perfect for book lovers of all ages.

This 1888 Star Authors antique card game was extremely popular. So much so that McLoughlin Bros created a set to collect: Game A (cards 1-36) and Game B (cards 37-72). This one is in incredible condition!

Game History:

McLoughlin Brothers were known for their gorgeous artwork, both in games and books. They used chromolithography for their games, including incredible colors and graphics. Their game division was purchased by Milton Bradley in 1920.

Game Details:

🎲 Size = approximately 6" x 4"

🎲 There are 36 cards (starting with number 37 through 72) present and they are in fantastic condition. They have a beautiful pink bouquet on the back of the cards. 

🎲 The box is sturdy and in great condition. One corner of the box top is worn, but intact. There is a small worn spot on the bottom box and a slight separation on one edge.

🎲 The instructions are present and are in wonderful condition. 

Games contain small pieces and are not intended for children under the age of 4.
